Workshop Description:
The Wilson Reading System is a research-based program designed for students who have difficulty with written language in the areas of decoding and spelling.

This 2-day training for teachers specifically addresses the learning style of students with a language-based learning disability. Teachers learn the components of the this multi-sensory structured language system that has proven highly successful with students who have been unable to learn decoding and encoding with traditional basal methods, whole language and other phonics programs. The goal of the system is to help students become more fluent, independent readers.

This training is appropriate for any teacher who teaches reading.
