Workshop Description:
Wilson Fundations is a research-based supplemental and early intervention program that provides explicit and highly systematic daily instruction for K-3 students in key areas necessary in effective reading instruction: phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, word and syllable study, vocabulary, sight word instruction, fluency, word and sentence writing practice, and some components of comprehension practiced during regular story time activities.

Teachers will find that Fundations is an effective approach in early intervention for struggling readers, providing a structured, sequential program using multisensory teaching techniques designed to supplement literature based language arts programs.
