Workshop Description:
This workshop will meet everybody’s needs. Not only will you learn how to improve your students’ memories, but yours, also! This workshop includes:
- What are the key parts of the brain that are involved in memory and how do they interact to create and enhance long-term memory?
- How do sense and meaning reassure long-term storage of information?
- How are memories formed? How are they received? How can they be maintained?
- (3 R’s – Receive, Review, Retrieve)
- Everyone receives information differently: Learning Styles, Multiple Intelligences, and Meaning-Making. We have to make sure that we present the information in a variety of ways so that all “receive” it well.
- A Brain-Compatible Lesson Plan Template ready to go for your daily planning.
- How do you design tests for better memory retrieval?
- 25 Student Survival Skills for Studying
- And much more!
Be ready to interact with, discuss, reflect on, and apply these ready-to-use ideas! You will walk out of the workshop with so many ideas and a great resource pack!
